Tarkett has introduced UpFront™, a new walk-off carpet system designed to elevate the look and performance of building entryways. Available beginning August 3, the collection pairs refined aesthetics with heavy-duty functionality, stopping soil and moisture at the door while maintaining a polished first impression.

UpFront launches in two styles—Bold and Frank—each offered in four colorways and multiple construction options, including Powerbond® hybrid carpet, ethos® carpet tile and Flex-Aire™ cushion carpet tile. Bold features angular, high-contrast lines for a striking entry statement, while Frank delivers a more understated pattern with light crosshatching on a dark ground.

Walk-off systems play a critical role in protecting interior finishes by capturing debris from foot traffic. Tarkett notes that effective systems can trap up to 80% of soil and contaminants within the first 12–15 feet of an entrance, reducing cleaning costs, minimizing slip hazards and extending the life of adjacent flooring.

Powerbond brings top-tier durability and moisture management to the collection, with chemically welded seams that create an impermeable barrier and support healthier indoor environments. Powerbond RS is also the world’s first Certified Asthma & Allergy Friendly® soft-surface flooring, proven to remove 95% of allergens with simple dry vacuuming.

Ethos carpet tile adds a sustainability-forward option, carrying Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze v4.0 status, Declare Red List Free designation and up to 78% recycled content. Flex-Aire cushion tile rounds out the offering with enhanced underfoot comfort for high-traffic spaces.

UpFront is included in Tarkett’s ReStart® take-back and recycling program, enabling ethos backing to be fully recycled back into itself—supporting circularity from the moment visitors step inside.
