Gordon Inc. introduces the CelLine® Metal Plank Security Ceiling, engineered for high-security environments such as correctional facilities, detention centers, judicial buildings, and medical/psychiatric institutions. Designed for unsupervised areas, CelLine® panels are mechanically fastened with exposed Torx Plus® tamper-proof screws, ensuring maximum security and durability.
Constructed from heavy-gauge galvanized steel (12–18 ga), aluminum (.125″), or stainless steel (14–18 ga, #4 finish), the planks are available in widths of 12″, 18″, or 24″, and lengths up to 12 feet (10′ for 12 ga). Matching angle and tee suspension systems support the robust structural performance required in high-risk zones including cells, holding areas, showers, visitation rooms, and dayrooms.
CelLine® panels feature a shiplap design that prevents contraband passage to the plenum and are offered in perforated or unperforated formats. Perforated panels can be fitted with Class A-rated fiberglass acoustical media wrapped in fire-retardant polyethylene or non-woven fabric, delivering superior sound control with NRC ratings of 0.80–1.00 and STC ratings of 40–44.
Factory-finished in a high-durability security white powder coat, custom colors are available upon request. The system is Green Building Compliant and IAQ friendly, aligning with sustainable construction standards.
Specialized configurations are available for U.S. Marshals Service Facilities, New York State Department of Correctional Services, and New York City Department of Corrections, making CelLine® a trusted solution for institutional security ceiling needs.
