Nichiha USA has unveiled a groundbreaking innovation in fiber cement cladding: the industry’s first in-house two-piece metal trim system. The new system offers a seamless finish with perfectly color-matched components across Nichiha’s broad range of textures and hues. The snap-fit design simplifies installation, eliminating the need for skilled detailing, caulk, gaps, or visible fasteners.

“This is a game-changer for commercial and residential building applications,” said Anthony Pucci, Director of Channel Sales for Nichiha USA. “We know that sealant-free systems are preferred by both architects and installers across a range of looks and surfaces. Our new two-piece solution goes a step further to conceal structural movement in a way that wasn’t possible before, revolutionized in a snap.”

The trim system introduces several key features aimed at improving efficiency and aesthetics. With single-source fulfillment, customers can now order cladding, trim, and accessories together, ensuring perfect alignment and visual consistency. The system’s unique termination cap seals edges against water and weather damage while maintaining clean lines.

Designed to accommodate structural movement, the trim’s internal channels absorb minor shifts in siding or cladding, preserving the intended look. Its staged installation—base first, face later—offers flexibility in tight or irregular layouts and allows for more forgiving measurements. The sealant-free vertical control joints enable tighter cuts and a cleaner profile, eliminating the need for caulking.

Compatible with Nichiha’s Architectural Wall Panel (AWP) system, the two-piece trim supports a wide range of design aesthetics, from wood and concrete to brick. The lightweight fiber cement panels install on a hidden track system, delivering high-performance, visually striking spaces built to last.

With this launch, Nichiha continues to push the envelope in cladding technology, offering a trim solution that blends speed, precision, and design versatility. Find out more at www.nichiha.com.
