Advanced Threat Detection
At the heart of the Senstar MultiSensor Cascade Plus is an embedded Sensor Fusion Engine, powered by artificial intelligence. This engine integrates data from multiple sensing technologies—including short-range radar, image sensors, dual passive infrared (PIR), accelerometers, and high-frequency sensors—to deliver precise threat analysis. By factoring in intrusion training data, pattern recognition, relevance, history, and background noise, the system can reliably detect intrusions even under challenging conditions such as low light, heavy rain, snow, fog, or high winds. The result is a system that minimizes nuisance alarms while ensuring operators receive the right information at the right time.
Seamless Networking and Integration
The Cascade Plus connects to existing security networks over Ethernet and is fully compatible with other Senstar devices, including FlexZone, FiberPatrol, LM100, UltraLink, and UltraWave. Through Senstar’s Network Manager™ software, alarm and status information can be conveyed to both Senstar and third-party security or video management systems (SMS/VMS), ensuring seamless integration into existing infrastructure.
Easy Installation and Maintenance
Designed with simplicity in mind, the Cascade Plus is easy to install and requires virtually no ongoing maintenance. Its versatile mounting bracket supports installation on fence posts, walls, towers, or light and camera poles. The device uses Ethernet for both communications and power, with PoE in/out ports enabling retrofits at sites with existing network wiring. This makes it an ideal solution for upgrading legacy systems without costly rewiring.
Built-In Resilience
Security systems must remain operational under all circumstances, and the Cascade Plus delivers with dual Ethernet switches for added network and power resiliency. In the event of a cable cut or device damage, continuity of protection is maintained, ensuring sites remain secure.
Enhanced Situational Awareness
When paired with the Senstar Symphony™ Common Operating Platform (licensed separately), the Cascade Plus becomes a powerful tool for operators. Symphony enables real-time visualization of alarms on site maps, thumbnails of captured images, and live or recorded video from the device’s 180° image sensor. Operators can also link additional cameras, monitor device status, and manage masking or unmasking of devices—all from a single interface.
Lowering Total Cost of Ownership
The Cascade Plus is designed to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO). With dual Ethernet channels and PoE support, up to 16 devices can be daisy-chained together, significantly lowering infrastructure and installation costs. PoE ports also allow connection of third-party devices such as surveillance cameras, IP speakers, intercoms, and security lighting, enabling site owners to enhance their security posture without major investments.
