Pelco is highlighting its portfolio of low-light security cameras designed to deliver clear video and reliable surveillance performance in challenging lighting conditions, from dim indoor environments to dark outdoor settings.
The company’s range of low-light IP cameras, including dome, bullet, box and PTZ models, incorporates technologies aimed at maintaining image clarity when visibility is compromised. Features such as true wide dynamic range and advanced low-light capabilities enable cameras to capture detailed images in near-total darkness. Select models also offer vari-zoom infrared illumination with a range of up to 200 meters, extending visibility across larger areas at night.
Pelco says its day-to-night PTZ cameras combine long-range zoom capabilities with low-light performance, helping security teams identify critical details in dark environments.
Built for demanding applications, the cameras are commonly deployed in high-risk locations such as schools, municipal facilities and other public-sector environments. The systems feature vandal-resistant construction designed to withstand impacts and help ensure uninterrupted video monitoring. Integrated tamper-detection technology can trigger alarms if a camera’s field of view becomes obstructed.
Many of the cameras are also engineered for both indoor and outdoor use, providing around-the-clock surveillance across a variety of operating environments.
To support investigations, Pelco’s low-light camera lineup incorporates the company’s SureVision imaging technology, which is designed to improve image quality under difficult lighting conditions. Additional capabilities include optimized exposure controls, glare and reflection reduction, and spatial noise reduction technology that minimizes image noise while preserving important scene details.
According to Pelco, these features can help security professionals capture clearer evidence, improve situational awareness and accelerate investigative efforts when lighting conditions would otherwise limit visibility.
