HomeWAV is highlighting the capabilities of its HomePAS® kiosks, an all‑in‑one communication and services platform designed specifically for correctional environments. The kiosks provide inmates with secure access to video calling, voice calling, and messaging, along with a range of digital tools that support daily needs and facility operations. Built around a streamlined, user‑friendly interface, the system is intended to help incarcerated individuals maintain meaningful connections with approved contacts while reducing administrative burdens on staff.
Each HomePAS® unit is engineered for durability and security, incorporating a 15.6‑inch all‑in‑one PC protected by a 3mm tempered glass touchscreen and a secondary 6mm tempered soda‑lime protective window. The kiosk’s tamper‑resistant design includes an inset faceplate, spill‑resistant sloped top, stainless steel cabling, polycarbonate‑coated steel lanyards, and four security bolts anchoring the hardware. Dual handset support allows for clear audio communication, and the overall construction is tailored to withstand the demands of high‑traffic correctional settings.
Beyond communication, the kiosks offer access to essential services such as commissary ordering, digital documents, and law library resources, giving inmates a centralized point for managing routine tasks. The system integrates with existing facility infrastructure, allowing administrators to monitor and manage communications efficiently while maintaining compliance with security protocols. HomeWAV’s platform also extends beyond the facility through its ByPAS® Smart Scheduler, which enables families to arrange and conduct remote video visits without staff involvement. This feature reduces on‑site traffic, streamlines scheduling, and provides families with a more flexible way to stay connected.
HomeWAV supports the kiosks with ongoing technical assistance, including software updates, troubleshooting, and on‑site maintenance to ensure consistent performance. Facilities can also work with the company to customize kiosk configurations to meet specific operational needs or policy requirements.
