LINCOLN, Neb.—The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) is now accepting proposals for the new multi-custody facility. Qualified contractors are highly encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference, Tuesday, April 29.

Embracing the most current trends in correctional architecture, the facility will emphasize normative spaces that boost rehabilitation and reentry. These will include programming rooms set directly in housing units, vocational spaces throughout the facility, natural light and attention to acoustics. DLR Group is reportedly leading the design of the project.

Bidding documents are available here: https://lnkd.in/g8bEAF-u
Sealed proposals will be received by Nate Bornemeier, Engineering Administrator, NDCS Central Office until Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Bid Security is required.

Other contacts at the NDCS include:

Joshua Andrew

 Taggart Boyd
