KELOWNA, B.C. (Canada)—Clark Builders, a division of Turner Construction Company, has officially broken ground on the Glenmore Protective Services Campus in Kelowna, British Columbia—a major step forward in enhancing public safety and emergency response across the Central Okanagan Region.
The new campus will unite the Kelowna Fire Department’s Glenmore Fire Station No. 5 and Central Okanagan Search and Rescue under one roof, creating a purpose-built facility designed for speed, coordination, and resilience. Delivered through an Integrated Project Delivery model, the project emphasizes collaboration and long-term value for the community. The facility has been designed by hcma architecture + design.
Strategically located near the University of British Columbia Okanagan, Kelowna International Airport, and expanding residential neighborhoods, the campus will improve response times and operational coverage. It will also feature advanced alerting systems and live-fire training facilities to prepare crews for real-world emergencies.
