By using materials that are virtually indestructible, Shat-R-Shield’s Correctional Cell Fixture is designed to withstand severe abuse. Built with 1/2″ thick 304 Stainless Steel and a cast .400″ thick diffused lens, this sturdy light fixture can tolerate hard/repetitive impacts—and its tight design offers no point of entry.

The Ironclad® Vandal-Resistant (VR Pro™) fixture employs an LED high efficiency light engine with a cool light that simulates daylight. The incorporated count light LED module can be turned on and off. Tested to Canadian and US standards by Underwriters’ Laboratories, this fixture carries a cULus rating.

Shat-R-Shield appreciated the industry’s need for an LED Fixture to eliminate, or greatly delay, tampering or removal of light fixture within a prison cell. The Irconclad® VR Pro™ provides adequate footcandles for a light output with wall-to-wall coverage, plus a count light per DOC guidelines, for a revolutionary new tamper-proof and vandal-resistant LED light fixture built to excel for years to come.
