A new generation of ruggedized surveillance has arrived with the launch of Hanwha Vision’s 4K AI Ruggedized PTZ Positioning Camera, built for extreme weather and engineered for uninterrupted, around‑the‑clock monitoring. Powered by Wisenet 9, the system delivers continuous, reliable visibility even in the harshest environments, pairing long‑range AI auto‑tracking with adaptive IR illumination that reaches up to 500 meters. The result is greater situational awareness, fewer false alarms, and faster real‑time response across mission‑critical sites.

The new T series Ruggedized AI PTZ lineup is purpose‑built for volatile conditions where vibration, shock, high winds, and temperature swings can compromise conventional cameras. Each model carries military‑grade durability with NEMA TS2 and MIL‑STD‑810H certifications, meeting stringent military and traffic‑system testing standards. Users can select from resolutions ranging from 2MP to 8MP to match their operational needs.

Engineered for extreme climates, the cameras operate safely from –58°F to 140°F, maintaining performance in both arctic cold and desert heat. Their IP66 and IP68 ratings ensure complete environmental sealing, protecting against dust, driving rain, and even full water immersion.

To maintain image clarity in winter conditions, an onboard window defroster eliminates condensation and frost, while a dedicated pan‑axis heater prevents mechanical freezing. Even in hurricane‑force winds, the system remains fully operational—supporting smooth pan, tilt, and zoom functions at speeds up to 160 mph without damage.

With its blend of resilience, intelligence, and long‑range visibility, the Ruggedized AI PTZ series sets a new benchmark for all‑weather perimeter protection.
